UTSA reported a police presence at Bauerle Road Garage, a parking garage adjacent to the UTSA Main Building and Business Building, on Facebook at 10:21 a.m. on Wednesday. Students were asked to stay away from the area by the institution. Around eleven in the morning, UTSA sent an update, stating that it was “deeply saddened” to learn that a student had passed away at the garage on Wednesday.
