Since Thursday, October 31st, 2024, Emily Castro and her friend Jelaine have been missing from SW Tucson, Arizona. Please use police report number 241102074 to get in touch with the Tucson Sheriff’s Department if you have any information. This case involves sex trafficking.
They left in a pickup with two males in their 20s, someone they trusted. Jelaine called her mother on November 2nd to let her know they were together and doing well. Jelaine informed her parents that she would not be going back to their home. Emily called them at 130 a.m. on November 3rd to let them know that she was okay and that her “friends” would take care of them; they didn’t need their relatives. It’s not Emily to say she doesn’t want to be around any family since she enjoys being with them.
While being coached, Emily spoke. Emily also informed her family that she would not be going back home when they were able to talk to her. It doesn’t seem like the girls were packed to leave their homes based on their investigation of their bedrooms. They gave the police permission to do a welfare check and informed Emily that if she called 911 to report that she was not missing, we would cease our search. “She can’t do that,” stated Emily.
Emily was working part-time at a McDonald’s while she was in her senior year of high school.
Emily added that she doesn’t need a job because she is finished with school. Emily stays out of trouble. Overall, she’s a wonderful young woman. The females seem to be indoctrinated, some popular opinion. Emily tells her family to disconnect her phone since she won’t turn it on. Another private number called to let her family know that the girls were alright and that he will take care of them.
