Sarnia, Ontario’s Owen Payne— Everyone who knew Owen Payne was deeply affected by his untimely death on November 2, 2024. Known for his lively enthusiasm and compassionate disposition, he was a cherished son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Owen was adored for his love of fishing and his ability to make people laugh with his warm embraces and wonderful sense of humor. He attended Northern Collegiate Institute & Vocational School. He will be greatly missed by all knew and loved him.
Social media has been inundated with condolence and support messages. Heartfelt remarks like “Jai bhim” by Satyendra Kumar are among the friends’ comments, demonstrating the community’s oneness during this trying time.
Kierstin K and Shayna Mitchell has started a GoFundMe in reaction to this terrible loss in order to assist pay for the funeral costs and give the family the support they need during this trying time. In order to ease the financial burden on Owen’s family and free them up to concentrate on healing and remembering him, a donation of $15,000 CAD is being solicited.
The family is incredibly appreciative of any help and invites anyone who would like to donate to the cause or spread the word to their networks to do so. As they work through the grief of Owen’s death, they seek to find solace and tranquilly together.
