At Coomera Bridge, a scenario is developing on the northbound M1. During rush hour, a woman has been seen sitting on the bridge’s edge. Emergency personnel are on their way to the scene. At the moment, a woman was seated near to the Brisbane sign that is suspended from the Coomera bridge that leads north to Brisbane.
Mathew James Simon of Gold Coast, Queensland, wrote on social media; “I was there and they fell right Infront of my car she was sitting on the phone cameras northbound they had all lanes takin out already incase she did . She didn’t jump she was hanging from the piping between the cameras and lost her grip . Fell and hit the ambulance on the way down . Literally happened 10 m Infront of me on the way to work . If not for the quick think of the Ambos and fire crews it could have been alot worse. She will be okay thanks to the ambulance breaking her fall but I’ve never seen anything like that in my life“
